Intergenerational Changemakers Fellowship | The Legacy Project, Inc.
Quick Project Overview
Title: Intergenerational Changemakers Fellowship
Status: Ongoing through July 2026
The Intergenerational Changemakers Fellowship is a six-month storytelling and civic action program designed to bridge generational divides and reimagine civic participation. Through The Legacy Project, with support from The Eisner Foundation, fellows form older-younger pairs who exchange life stories, co-author a chapter for a published book, and co-create a micro-initiative addressing a shared community issue.
-
Amid widening generational and political divides, both young and older people are seeking ways to contribute meaningfully in their communities. This fellowship explores how intergenerational storytelling can become a vehicle for shared purpose, empathy, and civic repair—culminating in both tangible community action and a national Intergenerational Atlas.
